All new enrolments are welcome

We like to ensure the best possible start for every child by ensuring the family and the school are fully prepared before your child’s first day .  Enrol your tamaiti before they start. You will need to provide

• A Birth Certificate
• An Immunisation Record
• Proof of residence

Language Pathways

At Rānui School we have three language pathways.

• Te Whakatipu Kākano (Rumaki Reo)
• Kura Auraki (English Medium)
• Toloa Aōaōina (Samoan Language Unit)

Both Te Whakatipu Kākano and Toloa Ao’ao’ina are special programmes. If you are interested in enrolling in these pathways please contact office@ranui.school.nz.

 

Students who apply for our special programmes (bilingual units) are selected based on criteria set out in the enrolment scheme.  If the number of applicants who meet the criteria exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot.

Out of Zone Enrolments 

Rānui School is governed by an Enrolment Scheme approved by the Ministry of Education. In 2024 we will be considering Out of Zone enrolments for Kura Auraki (English Medium) there will be two Ballot Times.

Time 1

• There will be 7 places available
• Enrolment applications Close: Wednesday 19th June 3pm
• Ballot Date: Wednesday 26th June

Time 2 (For 2025)

• There will be 7 places available
• Enrolment applications Close: Tuesday 15th October 3pm
• Ballot Date: Wednesday 23rd October
