Kia ora families/whanau
Welcome back to 2020 at Ranui School!  I hope you’ve had a restful time with your children and had time to enjoy their company.  We are looking forward to seeing them and, any of you who are available, on 10th February at 8.55am. Our powhiri for new children will be at 9.30am.
Below is an update to let you know how Ranui School is working to keep our children and community as safe as possible. Please read the information below carefully and let new families to school know, too
Thanks Heather

Coronavirus
This is a new virus and its nature is unclear, however it appears that you can have the virus at an early stage and not be showing any symptoms.  This incubation period is currently considered to be 14 days.
  • The health of students and staff is a priority for all of us at Ranui School.
  • Children will be returning on 10th February
  • We are advised by the Ministry of Education under (Section 19 of the Education Act) that Principals can request that a student with an infectious disease or is suspected of having an infectious disease, does not attend.

If you have been travelling with your family and are not sure if you have been in contact with the Coronavirus, or, you have been to China, please contact our school office on Monday.

Thank you

Heather and Ranui School Board of Trustees Coronavirus
